Individuals who have successfully completed and passed an AAPM Certification programme and hold an Active professional certification or membership with AAPM.
REGISTERED MEMBER
Individuals who register through the official AAPM Malaysia Chapter website or enrol in an AAPM Certification Programme delivered or administered by the AAPM Malaysia Chapter.

Code of Professional Conduct
AAPM Malaysia Chapter members are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all professional activities.
Members shall:
- 1. Maintain honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
- 2. Conduct themselves ethically and responsibly.
- 3. Exercise competence, due diligence, and sound professional judgement.
- 4. Respect confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
- 5. Treat clients, employers, colleagues, and stakeholders with fairness and respect.
- 6. Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose them where appropriate.
- 7. Refrain from making false or misleading claims regarding qualifications, certifications, or professional experience.
- 8. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Chapter policies.
- 9. Uphold the reputation and professional standards of the AAPM Malaysia Chapter.
Failure to comply with this Code may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership and, where applicable, certification status.
Membership Policy
Membership with the AAPM Malaysia Chapter is subject to the Chapter's policies and governance requirements.
The Chapter recognises two categories of membership:
- • Certified Members – Individuals who successfully complete and pass the examination for an AAPM certification programme delivered or administered by the AAPM Malaysia Chapter.
- • Registered Members – Individuals who register through the official AAPM Malaysia Chapter website or enrol in an AAPM certification programme delivered or administered by the AAPM Malaysia Chapter ; may access applicable Chapter services, member resources, and professional development opportunities in accordance with the Chapter's policies.
Each member is assigned a unique Membership Number, which serves as their permanent Chapter identifier and remains unchanged throughout their membership.
Members are responsible for maintaining accurate personal information and ensuring that their membership and certification records remain current.
Privacy Notice (PDPA)
AAPM Malaysia Chapter is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Personal information is collected, stored, and used solely for membership administration, certification verification, official communications, event management, and other authorised Chapter purposes.
Complaint & Appeal
Members may submit complaints or appeals relating to membership, certification administration, professional conduct, or Chapter services through the official communication channels. All matters will be handled fairly, impartially, and confidentially in accordance with the Chapter's established procedures.

How do I verify my membership or certification?

Is my Membership Number the same as my Certificate Number?
No. Your Membership Number identifies you as an AAPM Malaysia Chapter member, while your Certificate Number identifies an individual AAPM professional certification.
Do I automatically become an AAPM Malaysia Chapter member after obtaining an AAPM certification?
Yes. Individuals who successfully complete an AAPM certification programme delivered or administered by the AAPM Malaysia Chapter are automatically recognised as Certified Members and issued a unique Membership Number.
I am not certified. Can I still become an AAPM Malaysia Chapter member?
Yes. Individuals may register through the official AAPM Malaysia Chapter website to become Registered Members. Registered Members receive a unique Membership Number and may access applicable Chapter services, member resources, and future professional development opportunities.
How do I update my membership information?
Please contact the Chapter through the official enquiry form or email together with your updated information so that your membership records can be maintained accurately.
What should I do if my verification details are incorrect?
Please notify the Chapter and provide the relevant supporting information so that your membership or certification records can be reviewed and updated.
I obtained my certification directly from AAPM Headquarters. Can I renew through the AAPM Malaysia Chapter?
Yes. Members who obtained their certification directly from AAPM Headquarters may submit their renewal application through the AAPM Malaysia Chapter by completing the Renewal Form and providing the required supporting documents. The Chapter will review the application and coordinate the renewal process with AAPM Headquarters where applicable.
I have not renewed my certification for several years. Can I still renew?
Yes. In conjunction with the reformation of the AAPM Malaysia Chapter, the PDU submission requirement for certification renewal is temporarily waived for eligible renewal applications submitted on or before 30 November 2026. Members are encouraged to take advantage of this one-time renewal initiative to restore and maintain their certification status in good standing.
